| Background
Bruno Tertrais, researcher and author on strategic affairs, terrorism and proliferation, talks about the topic of nuclear proliferation at the Diplomatic Academy Vienna. At first, Mr. Tertrais reminds the audience that nuclear proliferation is not just a problem of the West or the States which already possess nuclear weapons. Proliferation is a topic which should concern all 190 states worldwide. The demand and supply for nuclear weapons remains high due to various reasons. But there is no reason for a pessimistic outlook to the future due to eight good news Tertrais shares with the viewers. After speaking about nuclear proliferation in general, Mr. Tertrais speaks about a more urgent and current topic: The Iranian nuclear ambitions. Finally, the expert from the Foundation for Strategic Research concludes with a way forward. |

1-The term “Iranian nuclear crisis” is the invention of Western propaganda machine. Iran has a nuclear energy program, which is fully monitored by the IAEA.
2-when it comes to security, it is interesting the fellow mentions everyone’s security except Iran’s.
3- as for the pessimists, optimists, and alike I have seen them predict “Iran will have a bomb in 2005, 2006, …”. Seems to me the public has caught up on that.
4-of course it is Iran’s and everyone else’s right to make nuclear fuel.
