VIDC – Assaults on the largest minority in Europe, the roma and sinti, have been rising significantly during the recent year. Moreover, the right-wing populist parties are gaining much popularity and are blaming the Roma communities, among others, as being the reason behind social and economic problems, which have just intensified due to the recent financial crisis.
